Using Wildlife Acoustics Kaleidoscope Pro (KaPro) software we can manually analyse and verify Full Spectrum ultrasonic recordings from automated detectors such as Wildlife Acoustics SM units, Elekon Batlogger A or C units, or Anabat Swifts, at a rate of approximately 1000 calls per hour. B.A.T. Ecological can also analyse a similar number of zero-crossed files recorded on an Anabat Express per hour using AnalookW or Anabat Insight. Acoustic and geo-referenced data from walked transects using an Elekon Batlogger M, an Anabat Walkabout, or a Wildlife Acoustics EM-Touch can also be manually analysed using the latest versions of Elekon BatExplorer, Anabat Insight or KaPro, with bat encounters plotted on maps. We can also analyse bat echolocation calls using Pettersson BatSound if required.
It is important to stress that the analysis of your project data is undertaken manually, by an experienced (and licensed) bat ecologist. We also offer a flexible approach - ‘time-charge’ or ‘piece-rate’ - and various options for collecting and returning large amounts of data.
